Hot zones are important in NBA 2K22. On the court, players who shoot from their hot zones have a better chance of making a shot. But, in 2K22, where can you find these charts? Let’s look at how to locate a player’s hot zones in NBA 2K22’s various game modes.
How to Find a Player’s Hot Zone in NBA 2K22
In most cases, you’ll want to look at a player’s player card to figure out where the hot zones are.
If you’re on the roster, use the sticks to select a player, then press R (for Xbox) or R3 (for PlayStation) to enter the player card. Then, using RT/R2, scroll through the player card until you reach the Hot Zones section.
In this section, you’ll learn which areas of the court a player excels at when it comes to shooting. A player in a red zone has a high chance of making a successful shot, whereas a player in a blue zone is a cold—or poor—shooter from that zone. The color gray denotes a neutral zone.
In MyTeam, finding the hot zones is a little different. Find a card in your starting lineup to do this with. To access the player card, do not press R/R3. Instead, scroll to the bottom of the screen to see the overall ratings.
Below that is a section where the grades of a highlighted player are listed. Highlight a player with the left stick, then rotate using RT/R2 until you reach the Hot Zone section.
Press the Pause button and use RB/R1 to scroll through the menu until you reach the MyCareer section for MyCareer players. Select Stats from the drop-down menu.
Then look through the Roster for your player. R/R3 and then RT/R2 to scroll through the bio until you find the hot zones.
